Brass bottle tag?

I found this yesterday and am wondering if anyone might be familiar with this company? I have done a google search and can not find anything on it. I found it at a sight with history from about 1860 to 1920.. EIMBALS Seems to be a German name. thanks in advance

interesting? Never thought of that it would make sense with the folded over design. the brass is cracking and seems very light for something that would get so much use though.. I sent them a email last night so hopefully GIMBALS has someone that know their history.

I think there's no doubt that Charlie is correct. These tongs were an advertising item which were somewhat disposable, maybe on par with the chop sticks you get at a Chinese restaurant (or the nicer ones they used to give you).
