Brass/Copper Item Found in ACW Camp

Hey guys. I'm new to posting here. I found this item in a Civil War campsite and was wondering if anyone here has come across anything similar. Of course, it may not be military or from ACW, but because it was found among bullets, buttons and other ACW accoutrements, I just felt I needed to ask. Thanks
