Another bunch of cars that I like are the cars built during the "Brass Era" which ended around 1914-1916. Some of these cars were just monsters while some were light & nimble. I just like all the shiny brass on them and the big acetylene headlights. About the closest I can get to affording one of these would be a 1915 to 1917 Model T, Ford had switched to electric lighting by then but there was still a brass radiator shell. Anyway, here's a dozen that I dug up for you to check out:

Those are truly beautiful cars - really works of art.

I have a millionaire friend of sorts that has several rare old cars that he's not doing anything with. He has a 1905 Gale which is one of two known to exist and a 1905 Buick Convertible that is sitting filthy in a indoor horse arena by itself. He built the arena for his wife who loved horses but she died before she could use it. When I get back on my computer back home I'll post a pic.

Oh man, I love brass era cars. I'm not sure I would get involved in anything more than a Model T though due to the maintenance but I sure do love them. All the pics are great but that ALCO is for sure my favortie out of the group.

Here's a pic of the Buick. It was dark out and we only had headlights from the buggy to light it

Great old Buick your friend has Bear. Hopefully one day it will relive its former glory.

Yeah, I love Jay Lenos site. I go there all the time.
