Found this in a northern WI lake in a couple feet of water.

Lots of boating now and before that logging and hunting activity.

It appears to be brass, mostly hollow and has a lip on the bottom, kind of like a shell holder in a reloading press.

Any ideas? And I'm not asking about the penny!!! :tongue3:

Thanks

That was a "bullet to an old cap gun. A rubber "bullet piece went over the narrow end and a cap went in the wide end. The thing would actually fire. I think mine was from around 1959 or 60.

and you could put one of those round green stick-on caps on the end for a "bang" too.
