The item posted was found in North Central Florida at a site that dates back to the 1800's. It measures about 3 inches in the longest dimension. The heavy and smaller wires are brass. The brass ball on the end is removable as it attached by threads. The gray beads welded onto the brass appear to be lead. The glass ball is iridescent with blue, green, yellow and red colors. The glass ball has swirls noticeable on the surface due to it's manufacture and is in excellent condition. I need your help in identifying it's use and age.

Thanks in advance for your help and comments.

Thats unique....thinking it might be a purse hook - ladies used them to hang their handbags when seated at a table...just a thought

I believe its a piece of what I call hippie jewelery. Not saying time specific.but likely homemade to be worn.the threaded end makes me pause at the thought of it being from 19th c.prolly just so it could be attached in a chain necklace. All of this is simply impression and a wag
