OK, obviously, some sort of beer advertising. But what was the company, and what's up with the 100-0 dial? True, it could be boiling to freezing in Celsius, but if that's what it represents, then for what purpose.
Best find for the company so far has been Schoen's beer, but the fonts that they used in their advertising, while it did change a few times, has always been quite different from this one. As far as I can see, they also always used the name "Schoen" in large letters along with the "Old Lager" phrase. So, I'm skeptical of that origin.
Puzzled and looking for help.
By the way, a friend found this, all crumpled and folded up. She almost threw it away as scrap but noticed the little tack holes in the corner and a hint of lettering, so took it home and boiled it for long enough to anneal the brass so she could unfold it without stress fractures. Pretty cool find, if you ask me!
