Just wonderind if anyone knows how old this is. The letters on the latch are St LK & NV.

It's a railroad padlock. St. Louis, Kansas, and NW?
It would be worth some good money, but it looks like someone took a metal rasp to it.
Looks to be late 1800s. I'm sure someone will come along that can identify the exact rail line.
