Looks like part of a rifle sling swivel that has ben bent and broken.

Looks like part of a rifle sling swivel that has ben bent and broken.

Agreed that part is for a rifle sling. Those horn looking things would be nearly touching and then a screw would secure it to the rifle. If its not for that then I have no idea.
