Brass Piece w Strange Engraving

Hello All. I found this piece in a park that goes back to the 1880's. Sadly it was bent in half long ago. I had a friend photshop it to get a single image of the side I can see.

It is about 2-1/4 x 1 inches in size, and looks to be brass. I can't see the underside well but it looks blank.

Maybe part of a small harmonica?

The markings are very strange. Just a design or do they have a meaning?

Hello DanKung. Hmmmm...alien star map...like the Ancient Alien guys on TV...I like it. Should I mark this one as "Solved"? C9

Maybe it was supposed to be bent. I remember having a similar type piece of metal as a kid. It was used to whistle loudly. You slid your tongue into the slot and partially covered the hole while you blew through it.
