This is a stamped brass shield with a fold-over on the back for attachment. It is 2" tall and 1 3/4 " wide. It was found at an antebellum house site and Civil War camp. Any ideas? Thanks for looking. (That is a half dollar next to it. May be too much glare to determine in the photo.)
