🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Brass tack ID help

I recently found a top of what I believe is a brass tack that may have been used on a native American item but I am not sure and could use anyone's help. I have seen pictures of these tacks decorating war clubs and at times rifle stocks but I want to know if anyone has ever found this type of item. I did find it on a known site from the war of 1812. I will try my best to upload a picture of it tonight.
