Brass Token "Baby Club"

I found this at a park in Charlotte, NC.
Any clue what it might be? The back is smooth and looks like it was glued to something.
It is a little bigger than a poker chip.

The back is plain with some leftover adhesive.

It is thicker than a quarter and has weight to it.
Here is a comparison to other coins.

Could it be off the end of a golf club handle? Jimbob

Re: Brass Token "Baby Club"

The diameter is too big.
It would fit on the end of a bat or a medallion on a golf cart...

Re: Brass Token "Baby Club"

It is a label off a device that you attached to a baby to keep it from being stolen. The CLUB.

This was in Eastover park near the Mint Museum. It was about 4" down but then again so were the cans bottles and other trash.
As I cleared it I thought for sure it was a coin.

I still can't find where it came from.

If I had to guess, and I am, I would say a woman's golf league.
