Good New Years Eve everyone;
The weather here today went from 45 yesterday to the low teens with wind chill today. I was itching to get out again after yesterdays 1864 2 cent piece find. While on TNET, Dayton Digger PMed me and ask me what I was doing. He said he had a few days off so I already knew where this was going. I said, sure. So he was nice enough to even pic me up and take me to one of his "honey Holes" After a few hours of numb fingers (I don't wear gloves) and frozen faces I was able to leave with a first for me, SLQ. The date is worn off like most SLQ's I see. I also found a 1944 merc and 3 Wheaties, with 1920 being the oldest. Had a great time even though the north wind was blowing at 20-30 MPH. I didn't want to leave but he had plans for tonight.....understandable. Plan on meeting New Years Day, Maybe for another hunt. Thanks for looking Ron
