Another estate sale find. Vintage chemistry lab piece. Made by the Kontes Glass Company. Stands about 14" tall. Has a mercury filled tube with a dial knob on the right side that moves the numbers up and down. Glass knob that opens and closes. Back of it is plain, nothing worthy to see. Any Ideas what this is actually called?

Hey diggummup!! It appears to be an old Mercury pressure gauge for testing mm of Mercury. You would hook up the ends and release the Glass stop cock and it would reveal how many mm of Mercury pressure the line was under!! It appears to be in great condition!! Anyway, GOOD LUCK and GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!
