Bremerhaven 50c Trade Token Any Help?

Thanks for posting this on tokencatalog! I'll bet it is from Bremerhaven, Germany and was possibly associated with the U. S. Army Bremerhaven Army Airfield near there. It was made by the Meyer & Wenthe Company of Chicago which made this style of token ca. WWII-1980 for businesses all over the world. I believe the thing in parens is (FERTAX) - no idea what that stands for. I'll edit the tokencatalog post to show that and put it in the "all listings" category instead of USA.

Thanks for your reply, John! My first thought was the same, that it was somehow associated with the Bremerhaven Army Airfield. I double checked under magnification a few minutes ago and it is definitely (FFRTAX) on the token. Maybe the second F was an error? I couldn't find anything on Google for FERTAX or FFRTAX.
