bridle Rosette?

I dug this up several years ago.1 7/8 inch in diameter and made of some type base metal.Anyone have any idea as to age?

Yes! that is a bridle or saddle decoration.I have seen these but this one is much older..I would keep in your collection of cool things you have found.
