British Minesweeper HMS Mercury Located in Southern Irish Sea

Odd find; apparently the wreck had been previously known, but was thought to be that of a submarine. Now it's been identified as HMS Mercury. Only a couple of pics in the article, but I could see how it's shape resembles that of a sub. Another interesting factoid: The ship was a paddle wheel design, built in 1934. I wouldn't have guessed that paddle wheels were still being built then. But this was one of those newfangled jobbers with an enclosed set of paddle wheels. More info at the link below:
