Looking for help identifying this button.

I think it is British Navy of some sort.

Small cuff size possibly WWI WWII?

Backmark reads Lewis's Ltd. Liverpool No.664376

Can someone confirm this or tell me what exactly it is and when?

The crown on the button is not a British "Royal" crown, so the button does not represent the Royal Navy. Your button is a British "Merchant Navy" uniform button. The "Merchant Navy" is the British equivalent of the "Merchant Marine" service in the US.

For confirmation, the following excellent British Buttons website shows two examples of your button, which says it dates from 1900 to the present. To see them, scroll a little more than halfway down the webpage to the "Non Royal Navy Buttons" section. Navy buttons
