broke down and bought a Excal 1000

Well I broke down and bought a Excal 1000 with a 3 year warranty. I was having trouble ground balancing my BHID in some spots at the beach. From what I read from you all I will be happy with this detector. Thanks for all your post David

You will definitely like the Excal once you get used to the threshold coming back at a different tone to id the target. It won't act like the Beach Hunter ID at all. Also the coil doesn't float.
