Broken 2 color point

Wondering why this point has 2 colors. Possibly the brown was exposed. I don't know. I wish it was whole.

I wish it was whole too! Man what a heart breaker. I have one that is bi color. Ill show it to ya, I found it last yr. Its one of my favorites due to the color.
