Broken but still neat

Need your help. From Illinois. This is clearly broken however I can’t tell if it’s a preform Madison or something else. Site is primarily woodland. It’s thick but the stone is Snow White like it was made yesterday. Almost looks like a small lanceollate. It was found in sand-not sure if that helps. Any ideas ?

White flint from IL is likely Burlington. Looks like a fragment of a finished point. Too thick to be a Madison. Gary
 

Like Gary stated, it looks to be a tip off of a larger piece and way to thick to be a Madison.
