Broken Button Maybe?

I hit an old rundown house in the woods. I found what I think is a button. If anyone knows what type it might be or if it is even a button, I would love to know. I also found some marbles and some clad. I didn't have much time because it started to rain and I was not prepared to get wet. I will definitely get back to that house.

Looks like a broken colonial flat button. Probably early 1800's.

I would guess it is about an 1820s one piece flat button.

Looks to defintiely be a colonial flat. Just clean it with mild soap and a toothbrush. Thats how I clean mine for the most part.

By the way...if you found THAT there, then you should be seeing Much older stuff than that clad turn up soon.

Some of the clad was found near where we parked. The house was still in use in the late nineties, but it is very old and the area itself is an old spot.
