Broken Point i.d.

Walking a plowed field two weeks ago and spotted this little beauty sitting right on top. I know it's broken up pretty bad, but I was hoping to get some kind of an i.d. on it. This was found about 35 minutes north of Raleigh, North Carolina. It measures 1.5 inches from tip to tail and it appears to be flint (see pics). I'll be heading back to that area this weekend and hope to find some more. Thanks in advance for any info...

part of the enjoyment of point and broke collecting is to name them. i can spend hours looking and compairing them to shadows and photos enjoying every bit of it. it feels mighty good to come with in [4,5,or even 6] of a match [2or3] is great. but it seems i have a match to night. i do not usually post on this part of my hobby, but [1] match for the state, first time i can remember it working that way.. if any one finds one that looks better please let me know so i can learn more.. if it was in my collection it would be called [[Dismal Swamp]] for now. 3500-300bp, asymmetrical , lists for Nc. and Va. on projectile point types .com... T.
