Bronze Age rings found in Rossett, Wrexham, declared treasure

Two Bronze Age gold rings which were found by a metal detectorist on farm land in Wrexham have been declared treasure by a coroner.
The lock-rings - worn either as earrings or in the hair by a person of wealth and status about 3,000 years ago - were discovered in Rossett.

Yeah I would dig it, look and then rebury and stomp the ground real hard it before I would turn it over.....

Maybe you guys don't get it. When you find an historically important relic in England they do take it for a museum, you do get credit for the find, and they PAY you the value of the item, they do not just confiscate it. This is much better than here where you are not allowed to hunt historic sites at all if they belong to the states or the feds. These rules do not apply in the rest of Europe.
