A little bit of everything today.

We are now on the bottom of the list & the field I wanted to try was one I remember from 2016 where we got a Celtic Bronze Unit & a couple of scrappies. (My memory wasn't that great, I had only found 1 scrappy) So we took quite a risk on this field. After 3 hours of gridding we had 12 scrappies, pretty good.
I notice a scumbag night hawker had been in a couple of these fields but they were too thick to find the site.:laughing7:

After lunch I wanted to try 2 nearby fields that we have never looked at, mostly as they have no intel on them. The first field I walk into I wandered in & my first dig is a debased Roman Silver. After gridding that area, no other signs showed up. The 2nd field was pretty much a bust as well. So we tried a field that had thrown up a couple of Saxon finds. Once again my first dig was a hammered & then it went dead!

Cru, what do you do with all your relics after the hunt? You must have a warehouse to store them in. Gary

Keep them according to the land-owner. Show them all to the land-owners. Give the land-owners some of it. Then put it all away according to its category.
Short answer, I'm a collector, not a seller.

Awesome finds again! Nice silver. Congrats! :icon_thumleft: Any approximate age on the crotal bell?

Naw, thats still great results! And you have found three fields to detect. Options running low this time of the year....

Well 2 have been crossed off. But the Roman area, is worth a return, if we have time. We only have a handful of owners that let us do drilled crops & it's one of these we will try next. Soon, we will only have 1 grass option left!

That’s a very productive hunt

Well done ! Good variety , and nice to see another hammered for the massive pile !!
