I would keep it and sell it in a few years, when it's value goes up, to a meseum or on ebay as a decoritive peice or replacment peice. it would be a shame to destroy that nice piece of history.

I was going to say clean it up and use it for a head board ....but then figured five hundred pounds is a bit heavy for a wall...hahaha...nice find ....
