bronze rudder

hi all,
saw this 5'5" long bronze ship's rudder in someone's yard today. apparently it came off an american ww2 barge.
I estimate it's weight at about 500lbs. would anyone know what the metal value could be. thanks HH

I would keep it and sell it in a few years, when it's value goes up, to a meseum or on ebay as a decoritive peice or replacment peice. it would be a shame to destroy that nice piece of history.
