Brooch - Ironage 100 BC.

Today I searched a new field. Normally this kind of field gives coins and other finds from about 1600 - today.

To my big surprice I got this wonderful brooch (Kugelfibel) from the period of 150 - 50 BC.
I have not been able to find an exact match, but stilisticly it matches brooches from this period.
The brooches from this period have the specific characteristic of 2 or 3 "balls" on the body of the brooche.
That´s why it in German and Danish is called "kuglefibel" ~ "ball brooch".
The brooch once had an iron needle that was situated on the lower left and rested on "the foot" of "the animal".
My find has a very special long neck with a little turtle like head on the end of.
This is very special and an extremely rare find.
