Brrrr!!! Cold seated cool signet!!!

Brrrrr! I say! Brrrr!!!! It was trying to snow all day, but the ground is mostly thawed, and I can pull a few goodies out of it! Got lots of stuff before I headed to work today! The coolest thing to me was the signet I found, at first I thought it maybe had a wooden handle that rotted off, but looking at it, I think it was a cufflink. Which seams weird to me, why would they make a signet as a cufflink? Maybe it was just for looks, not use. I am also amazed at the tiny silver butterfly the A T Gold I have been using was able to find in really trashy ground, I really like this machine! Got a cool silver ring that I need to clean up and reshape, another junkie but cool cufflink, and a really worn 18?? Seated quarter with some neat looking tone to it!(I rubbed in on my jeans after I cleaned it off in the creek, it's allready pretty rough looking lol!)Feels like this year might be a good one! Oh and some other goodies in the tailgate pic, that I aren't cleaned up yet, I just threw them in my pouch instead of cleaning them in the creek. A neat kind of iron stand, to maybe keep from burning stuff up? lol! Oh yeah, and a winter killed rodent!

Any info on the signet would be cool....

Do you know that iron stand is for a clothes iron you heat on a wood burning stove? Very nice seated even if worn. Glad you could brave the cold.

Cool, I thought maybe it was to keep the iron from burning anything after it was heated, but what do I know? lol! I still like it, plan on giving it an apple cider bath, then a good cleaning, then maybe a wax bath to protect it, all the feet are still on it, I think it could still be used lol! Now I just need to find an Iron to go with it.....

Looks to be still quite cool there just by the look of the ground your pictures show. The seated is a plus dig.Now those posted lately look like most of mine.
