Yep, it was worth it! Makes having to miss MD'n for a birthday party worth it too! ;)
 

CG, very nice shots of your area, I miss rolling hills and mountains, but the up side is winter is much kinder. :)
The moth appears to be a Cecropia Moth.

i chased a butterfly around my deck trying to get pic, but he's kinda lost in the petunias. oh well, just can't get decent pics of ANYTHING small ...
(no macro on my camera:)

I thought about bringing my detector with me, only for a minute though :D.

Yeah it was a sight I'm sure, but I thought it was worth it. What we will do for a good picture huh?
