Hey Guys I am looking for some recommendations on reference books on buckles. I would love to find a comprehensive book that identifies types of buckles, age of different buckle types, and general info about the metal compositions and styles. I recently dug a complete colonial shoe buckle and didn't know what I had. I figure its winter in Maine and if I can be educating myself and starting a library at the same time I would be ahead if the game come spring time. Any ideas on button books would be great as well.
