Nice early buckle frame and tongue. Just missing the chape. Nice find! :occasion14:

Cool finds, hopefully you can find a year on that LC. I thought I was the only one that searches middle of nowhere wooded areas. That's proof that anywhere can produce keepers.

Very nice Buckle , if I recall right ,it similar to a Confederate forked tong Buckle.079.webp

Sorry not quite the same buckle (pictured ) as I was thinking of. ..Wishbone Type is what i'm thinking. I think ???

Anyway
You got a SWEET buckle that I would love to have in my collection.

Nice buckle find! :occasion14:

I believe it to be from 1720 - 1790...

Looks like a colonial shoe buckle.

Great find! Congratulations!

That old buckle is just plain SWEET! Love those old brass relics. Nice.:headbang:

You're over some good dirt,
Congrats on your finds., especially the buckle.

Great looking buckle, congrats. Have you figured out the copper yet, maybe a Fatty IH?

Haven't cleaned the coin up enough to ID yet
