Hey all, went to my spot in the woods today with my brothers At Pro. Found a Buffalo nickel that I think is a 1931 and what I think is a suspender clip. Got a 1889 V Nickel and a 1917 Merc the other day as well but I didn't take any pictures.

Jason,I dug one of those a few weeks ago,the clip that is. God Bless Chris

seems like you've been using the at pro alot lately how has it been for you nice finds btw:icon_thumleft:

I don't find a lot of buffalo nickels but when I do I consider them some of my better finds.

I don't always use the At Pro, I just like going over spots that I've already done to see if a different detector will find something I've missed.

Maybe I was wrong about the At Pro. Nobody will believe me I bet but the 1917 Merc I found the other day was at least 12 inches deep. I gave up on it 3 times thinking it was deep rust until finally I got a hit with my pinpointer and pulled it out.

At the end of the day if it works it works you know H.H.

Nice finds and yes, that is a suspender buckle. Tennessee digger

Cool suspender clip. Amazing how well it cleans up after 100+ years underground.

Hey must be a few of those around because I dug a suspender clip just like it last spring, going to have to believe you on the merc being down 12 the AT Pro dose have it's good day. Congrats on your finds and good hunting...

I didn't have to clean it at all actually. I was amazed that it was still in pretty good shape given the age.

The more I use the AT Pro the more I like it. I still think the pinpoint isn't the best and the stock coil isn't great in trash but it's a very capable detector.

Thought you were now using a 1266-X? (Nice finds btw).

The 1266 I traded for was broken when it arrived so we traded back and I have the Coinstrike back.

Glad you are finding good stuff, and I'm happy that you are giving the AT Pro a fair chance. The more I used mine the more I liked it as well. And for the record, I believe that your 1917 Merc was 12 inches deep! I have found silver dimes with my Pro in the 10+ inch range....
