Here's a really nice 1800s Mason jar, from the consolidated fruit jar company. Original price tag read $75, but after a quick phone call, the antique shop owner got it down to $10.

Front, center, and back of a nice booklet advertising Horsfords Acid Phosphate, dated 1891. I got it for only $2.

Lastly, here is a killer Vartray Brewed Ginger beer bottle, from Buffalo New York. This one has a different style closure usually seen on Vartray bottles. I am unable to find much info on Vartray, other than that they were awarded with Best Ginger Ale in 1901. Photo taken in the rain. Pretty cool, huh?

Vartray was run by James R. Cochrane in the 1900 directory and located at 33-39 Franklin, they incorporate in 1901 with a bunch of other people, then in 1903 it is listed as being managed by John H. Hadler at 54 Paul St., then from 1904 on they seem to be run by E.P. Pattison at 33-39 Franklin, and in the early teens they move to 176-182 Terrace... I didn't dig any deeper.

Thank you very much!
