Bulb Planter?

I was in my local Ace Hardware, and came across a bulb planter. Looks like it might be good for popping small plugs? Anyone use or tried one?

It will cut all the roots and kill the plug of grass and the next time a lawnmower passes over it the plug will go airborne also leaving a depression.

Practice popping coins or cutting a plug you can fold back over imho.....
