Found this detecting the beach, what are we supposed to do with bullets we find? Also can anyone ID this one?

Put them on "what is it"... If you find a land mine that a different story. Being it looks like the saltwater ate holes in the brass case I would say that shell is totally inactive. I'm not sure what it is, other then it looks WWI era to me. The lead projectile looks pretty decomposed also. Looks military to me. Maybe it's a misfire ?

Looks to be a .45-70 (Government .45) round made by the Frankford Arsenal. Your R F 2 83 head stamp translates as follows.

R = Rifle
F = Frankford Arsenal
2 = February
83 = 1883
