Relic Hunting
Need help with 3 items. I found this yesterday in Bridgeport Alabama. There was alot of CW activity all over Bridgeport and I was given permission to hunt a few acres. This was found just a few feet apart. There was alot of iron pieces that were broken up also. I'm hoping I stumbled across a campsite.

Nice Finds! Not sure on your first item, but your second item (photo 3 and 4) is a linch pin.

Your third item looks like clothing (pants) rivet.

The bullets appear to be your standard CW-era .58 3-ringers. The rivet is probably from the same time frame, from a relatively heavy harness of some sort, perhaps horse tack. The others I'm unsure of.

That exact form and size of brass rivet is on civil war yankee army knapsack straps. Could have also been used on other leather equipment, such as horsegear, but I'm sure it was used on the knapsack straps.

Your rectangular item looks like modern lead alloy wheel weights that I have seen fixed to tire rims by two-sided tape. Nice bullet finds! I would stay on that site for months. Happy hunting, Sub 8-)
