I found this 1859 seated liberty at a park about a month ago. When I dug it up I was like, heck yeah. It was a super nice coin. When I looked closer I was like bummer. It had a hole in it. Obviously, someone lost it from a necklace.

Put it through the electrolysis, and it cleaned up nice. Then I thought, what the heck I'll turn it back into a necklace. I bought a silver chain and the little silver ring holder, and will give it to the wifey for valentines day.

Jezz, sorry about the blurry pics. I need some tips on this camera thing. How do you guys get a good picture.

Dang. I promise it is a good lookin' coin. Really.

That's using the old noggin'...great idea!

See if your camera has a macro mode. It is usually represented by an icon of a flower.

HH!

That's so cool!

I LOVE turning so-so finds into new or useful things.

She's going to love it!

TBGO,
I have that macro mode, and used it. The ding-danged button is so hard to push I bet the camera shakes.

I'll have to get a camera with a delay that takes its own pictures and a tripod.

Good thinkin'....Use the macro with a magnifying glass if you have to...work's wonder's!!!

Yeah, too bad that puppy was holed. It lookes like a MS beauty. But great job with the necklace!
