Well July 17th and we are in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. In the great Smoky Mountains. Here are some pictures on the way.

My friends I have never flown in a copter before and always wanted to. So my surprise from my wife was to do just that. So here is my treat. The pilot asked me if it was my first flight and I said yes. He said it was his first to and up we went.

After regaining consciousness I started taking pictures.


Uh yes I got the picture please level the copter level again. THANK YOU!!

On the ground. I will not forget this experience.

Well I guess my boat ride just took a big tumble on your list of exciting things you did on your vacation. And I bet the pilot of the helicopter didn't threaten you with having to push the copter like I threatened you with pushing the boat that was out of gas. But I did show you a castle and a place you would love to metal detect. (Guess we could use some night vision stuff! (remember the island)) Dang it, I was so looking forward to seeing the backside of the copter. Glad your having a good time but isn't it amazing how fast your vacation has gone? I have been back at work for 8 weeks since you left.

They dang sure didn't serve cream on the flight Charlie. I did get his backside for ya though.
Been there done that on work it sucks. But CTH2 will be here soon. Can't wait to see you to WSD!!

Burdie,
Flying a copter, very cool. Did you have a change of shorts with you once you were back on the ground?
You two sure know how to have fun. I can't wait to see what you post next.
Were you able to visit Dolly in Pigeon Forge? You may have even spotted her from that copter. No, those were not mountains.

Still in Pigeon Forge. Had breakfast at the old mill. I highly recommend it.

Hey how did that get in there?

Vicki loves Christmas stores so we ended up here.

Oh I got to visit the Bass Pro Shop. Nana tell Lisa's husband I bought shoes just like his.

Say is that woman radioactive?

I ran into River Rats sister. She waves a lot but didn't talk.

Heading for Nashville Tenn. next. I am going to try to make it in the music business.

Well I pointed the four wheeler in this direction today.

Later in the day we stoped along a waterfall that is located along the Cumberland trail.

​

This drop off is easy 50 plus feet.

​

We then stoped at Andrew Jacksons house. Continue next post.

I lost all I put in so here is a short version. I stopped at the hermitage house.






I hope those of you that followed this trip enjoyed it. Vicki and I are happy that we were able to share this trip with you. We were blessed by seeing our great friends and adding others. Bless all of you. Thank you for looking.
