I walked out of a small shop on the main street of Sutton , WV , about 3 blocks from where the bus stopped on it's regular run to drop and pick up passengers .
Overheard a very large man with a suitcase in his hand ask a guy standing on the sidewalk ,
" Snir , ib vis where neu cath va bus to Gaffaway (Gassaway)?"
The fellow didn't reply .
The man asked again and , again the fellow didn't reply . I thought he was being very rude to a gentleman with an obvious speech impediment and a a stranger in town as well .
I walked over and directed the guy to the corner 3 blocks down where the bus stopped . He thanked me and headed down the street .
I turned my wrath on the nonresponding local , asking him how he could be so rude as to not answer a question for the poor stranger .
Wide eyed he looked at me and said ,
"Dif u aunt to see im kif ma chif out of me thor mawfkn im?"
