I was searching an area that had a lot of activity dating back to the mid 1600's. Also prior to that there was a lot of indian activity in the area. I found a flat round item approximately 1.35" diameter. It has what appears to be 2 sets of lines going around in a circle. There's probably more detail there, but I didn't want to clean it because I'm not sure what a safe cleaning method would be. The back of it almost looks like it was some type of button. I have no idea what it is or how old it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Glenn
