I found this button at lawn/tree line in a house built about 1730 in Lee, NH. Any idea what kind it is and how old? It was about 6" deep. Although flat, it appears to be two pieces. It feels light, as .. not solid.

I can't find anything on your button or the age.I will keep looking for some info on it.
However, I think that is a very nice find.I like it.
