I found this button ( it has a small little bump out, like it's a cap to something or a snap of sorts ). I wouldn't think too much of it, except I found it about 20 foot from where I had found this WW1 bridal rosette. Is it anything more than just a normal button?
I found them both in the horse field behind my house. 2 farmhouses dating back to late 1700's early 1800's, border the field. If that means anything ...
Also how can I delicately remove the rest of the crud from the button? I got lucky on the rosette and didn't screw it up with electrolosysis
