It is the front of a rivet-button from a Trainman's overalls. That type (showing a train engine or train car) seems to have been first manufactured in the late-1870s, on into the present, with the vast majority being made in the latter-1800s into early 20th-Century.

Thanks that was fast I thought it had something to do with that but I couldn't find anything about it.
