me and my father were at a friends farm and found these buttons I believe the big one is ww1 any help would be awesome Thanks for looking

The Great Seal Button starts in 1902, so could be WWI but can be WWII & so on, depending on the backmark.
The oval linked-button or cufflink is late 18th C to early 19th C, so your on an older site.

I agree with Crusader. Great looking military button, judging by its size it seems to be a coat button. Always fun to dig.
