My first button .... trash or treasure? Can I start planning my retirement now? Actually found in upstate NY in revolutionary active area....feet away from 1800's coins. Any idea?

Cool find, i would have to say either 1700's or 1800's flat button with its shank intact only worth a dollar or two, but still cool, does it have any backmark?? Definetly a keeper!
