BUTTON LOOKUP HELP PLEASE

I got this button at an estate auction amongst other buttons. It has not been dug but there are small corrosion spots on the back. The shank is present but bent over. It appears gilt and most or all of the gilt is present. The back mark reads .....
(STAR) SCOVILL MFG (THERE'S A ROUND DOT BETWEEN THE F AND G WHERE AN APOSTROPHE WOULD BE THESE DAYS) (STAR) / WATERBURY ..... On the design side there is a ship and a setting sun. The words read (STAR) NEW = HAMPSHIRE (STAR) / VOL. (DOT) MILITIA, 24MM I would like to know the catalog number for this button and its rarity rating and possible value before I decide what to do with it.
