Button with Greek Letters and an Owl

Hello all,

Recently found a one piece button with four Greek Letters with an owl on it. I'm not that familiar with the Greek, but I believe it is Omicron, Epsilon, Theta and Sigma. Maybe there are some experts on this here? There is a small image next to the owl that I cannot make out. I'm open to any suggestions.

Thank you Bramblefind. My searches were coming up empty. My gut is telling me early to mid 19th century. The one piece with the embossed... but then, I couldn't find anything on it so the EBay seller may be correct! I appreciate the time spent on that.

Ripvanb, yes I was hoping something of that sort. I think most Fraternities have 2 or 3 letters.. not 4 maybe a "wicked" secret society?!
