Button

Hi there. Can someone please help me to ID this button. This was found in South Africa in a area where the 2nd boer war took place. Appatently a Brittish camp site.

It's 10mm in diameter with no markings on the back.

It seems to be made from copper.

JSR letters but in any order?? Its not a Military button, but kind of looks like a Railway type.
