I found these two buttons today in a field at a former 19th century farm about 20’ from each other. I am trying to date and identify them.

The two-piece is 1/2" but has a sort of feathering around the front.
The flat button is 5/8' slightly concave and has some corrosion on it.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks
mike
