Been finding a lot lately....I know most aren't as valuable as coins but they are fun to find....you never know whats going to be on them....maybe I'm just easily entertained...lol

No, buttons are fascinating, and I would rather find a button over most anything these days.

Buttons are always a welcome find. There's a really good post from Buckleboy on cleaning buttons. Don't know if you have seen it or not. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,165857.0.html I don't use any water at all on buttons. Not even for an initial cleaning. The water washes away any contrast on the backmark. I'll rub them with the flat side of a toothpick and then rub with my fingers. The oil on your fingers will really make the contrast stand out. If you're finding a lot on the same site that is a good sign. Hunt that place to death.
